‘We're Never Afraid of Getting Up Every Morning’ is the first solo album by musical jack-of-all-trades Lucas Schreel. Originating from a desire to create 'simple songs', the record uses naive and childish gibberish and the framework of conventional songwriting to convey a playful character. The result is a cinematic and expressive album with which Schreel succeeded to create a world of his own.
